WEAPON(S);; A simple katana that seems to have long since been worn out from age that you would think that it’s nothing more than a useless piece of metal. Though in a very sad state, it’s a lot sharper than it looks. With a blade that’s completely black and a handle made out of demon’s bones there is a reason why is named Burakkukatta [Black Cutter]. Nothing special about it can be noted, but merely that it cuts just about almost everything. ABILITIES;; Shi’s abilities lie in the shadows that dwell on the earth. You could say that his ability is nearly flawless and could never fail him, but a moonless night can leave him powerless of his shadows. For a shadow to form there needs to be light. Without light there is no shadow, and thus all his shadow tricks can be easily overcome. If there are some shadows to work with, he can mold them into whatever he pleases and can use them as a weapon or even store things. Shi also understands how to make some potions and remedies that cure or curse you. He’s also notable in being able to change his form to whatever he fancies. He can also travel among the shadows if he wishes to travel large distances. -Transformation- As he would state that the shadows are him and he is the shadows, he uses his ability to change his appearance to what he pleases. His body fleshes over as if tiny pieces of his body are turning over to show another side which has the desired form. The shape and features quickly changing in a silent and unnoticeable manner before you can even see what has happened. -Tsuyoi Kami- Using his transformation abilities and shadow abilities, he can transform his hair into sharp needles that can strike out or defend him in a fight. When he doesn’t have his hair stiffened for a fight, it seems like normal hair. Though of course if he were attacked where no shadows could be formed this sort of attack would be useless. -Shinu- From a spot where a shadow is formed, spikes of different sizes shoot out towards his opponent piercing them and staying for however long as Shi wants them to. They are fast and accurate, as Shi is, but nothing no one can avoid. -Kuro no Kaba- Opening his mouth he allows a black sort of fog to come out and make a diameter of 30 meters around him that is scentless, but causes all sort of vision to be obscured. If you happen to stay in this black fog for too long, you will start to find yourself paralyzed. Of course depending on the person will the amount of time it will take matter. -Kagee- From his own shadow he forms a sort of thin puppet that hovers over his body. With fingers that are long and sharp. A body that can be used as a weapon to attack anything and also block anything that would come too close to him. Or if he wanted it to, he could make it carry something of his. BATTLE STYLE;; Shi for the most part keeps his distance from his opponent, preferring to attack from a distance. From such a way of attacking you would think that he doesn’t know how to fight in close quarter combat, but that is something he would usually want people to think. If he were forced to attack in short range, he could easily whip out his katana and meet a person with martial arts as well. Though his attacks are focused in speed and accurate attacks to finish the enemy quickly. |

QUIET l SERENE l COLD l PATIENT l WISE l CONCEDING l Bored. That is what he always seems to be. Holding a serene and cold look that would stop many people in their tracks he also seems to have a timeless look to him. His voice is mere whisper and rarely ever shows any kind of fluctuation to it. He can almost seem rather emotionless to most people, and he has been mistaken for a statue a few times. When you first meet him he holds a sort of temperate atmosphere about him. Though once you get to know him he can be a bit frustrating and conceding as he is a youkai. He’s not very good with answering questions right out, and can sometimes just give you flat out no answer in your countless questions. He doesn’t care for repeating himself and never answers pointless questions of his own. He can actually be quite sarcastic and will occasionally show a witty comment. He’s a youkai that thinks of himself as better as a human, but that doesn’t mean he can’t see that humans themselves have their own type of power. Unlike other Youkai, he doesn’t ever hunt humans as game but merely use them as a sort of entertainment once in a while. Making himself to look like a human or other creature to interact with him. For he cannot deny that humans are very amusing creatures and that he would much more prefer their company to a stuffy, arrogant youkai. If there is one thing that Shi believes in, it is that family is the most important factor. Even though his siblings may not like him very much and they can be quite annoying to him, he would still enact revenge for their deaths should it happen. Shi rarely ever holds any attachments to people, but there will be occasionally a certain soul that has intrigued him that he would seek for them. It is also to say that naturally annoying people seem to run in his family, and he will admit that he does enjoy making people boil with rage. Makes life more interesting. He was the first son and the eldest of his two siblings. He was a quite child that always asked questions, seeking for answers for so many questions he had. As it would see, his father usually left him with more questions rather than answers. Which may be the why he eventually developed his way of leaving you with hardly an answer and perhaps more questions to ask. As he grew up he lived a rather lonely life. He never knew how to make friends, and when he would use the tactics his parents would use to regard with other people he was usually referred as a manipulative child. So he would usually keep his distance from people and rather look inside the box rather outside. When his siblings were born, he made sure to help his mother as much as he could. Though he would rather much spend time with his father and show how strong he had become he began to figure that he should at least help his mother. Rather than wait for her to nag at him about it. It was about when he was a teenager that they were born. A point of time where any teenage boy tries to show off their strength and have dreams of becoming more powerful than their parents so of course that would be his as well. He would train hours upon hours in the forest, and test his skills on many youkai that would dare say they were stronger than him. As well as change his siblings diapers and many times leave them out to die just because he could. It was until one year when the camellia blossom would bloom waiting for their tragic death that he had ever first found any interest in humans. The boy seemed rather plain to say and there was absolutely nothing that would cause a person to turn their head to give him a second glance, but it was rather his fearlessness of Shi. At first the youkai had thought the boy didn’t realize exactly what he was, but as soon as he showed his true form the boy didn’t cower away. Rather ran towards the youkai and sat in his lap transfixed with his own hair. The boy was an orphan as he figured it out, and it wasn’t that he cared for the boy. Rather he just found something interesting about the child, which is probably why he would return to the boy all the time. Sitting there and letting the child play with his hair or even answer a few questions that he wanted to. As he knew would happen, he returned one day to find the child dead and uncared for. It was going to happen one way or another, but perhaps that was the only time he had ever thought death to be a beautiful thing. As years passed by and the seasons changed from one to another, Shi aged at a rather slow rate actually it would seem like he never aged pass the age of 20. His more arrogant and quick to pick a fight attitude faded away to a more serene attitude, though his is still a bit arrogant. He just keeps a cooler attitude that can seem a appeasing to people. If you squint good enough. As humans began to come up with new ways of dealing with Youkai, Shi began to disguise himself from those who would dare attack him. Occasionally helping a demon or half-demon if he feels like it, but even if he does fancy humans. He wouldn’t mind exterminating them if they threaten his life. |
