So if the solution has been to never look in yourself, how is it that you expect to find it anywhere else...

He is exceedingly proud, and violent, while also having a cold quality to him. He is often cold, cunning, and doesn't bother fighting against weak opponents. He has ambitions on reclaiming all the territories for himself, and ruling the entirety of the lands. He loathes humans, seeing them as insects to be crushed when in his way. He also desires to crush the sons of the Great Dog Demon, due to the rivalry between the Great Dog General and his own father, Ryukotsuse.

If I should ever fall and get caught in a hustle, let them know that I died while I fought in a struggle...

WEAPON(S): Sanzuchi- a sword forged from his own fang, it takes the form of a Nodachi, roughly his own size in length and incredibly heavy, except for him. It is well ornamented, with a long silver blade. It is exceptionally sharp and durable. It contains a great deal of raw power behind it, necessitating a powerful demon to use it.

Weapon Ability: 1000 Deaths- by using his demonic power and swingin the sword, he can cause roughly one thousand slashes in the arc of the sword's strike from all directions. This attack can be used to either slay many weaker foes or do damage to one opponent on multiple sides.

Kamichi- By focusing his demon energy into the blade, he can make it glow a powerful demonic aura, changing its color to white. In this state, its power causes it to corrode things and gain much more power against energy based attacks or barriers, as well as cutting purely physical objects to pieces.


ABILITIES: Exceptional strength, speed, stamina, endurance, Immunity, Longevity. Of special note is his iron hard skin, which he claims practically no one can break with any weapon and which takes significant force to break through. Also, he can launch orbs of white energy from his hands and mouth, of varying sizes and attack power, and can be fired multiple times (smallest the size of a baseball, others the size of a house).

BATTLE STYLE: While exceptionally fast, agile, and strong, he also has incredible skills as a swordsman, able to wield his giant and ungainly weapon effectively in combat. However, he often holds back on attacks, using the minimum amount of power to destroy enemies, not wanting to waste his time on weaklings. He won't fight those he finds too weak, and those he does fight he does so with apathy or even boredom, only using his full strength when it takes too long for his opponent to die.

The mind of a child is where the revolution begins

History goes here He was born the son of Ryukotsutsei, an incredbily power daiyoukai, capable of standing against nearly any opponent. Shoryu idolized his father, and was exceptionally proud in his heritage and in his own incredible strength. He followed alongside his father as they roamed their lands, gaining more territory and battling other high ranked demons. Once Shoryu was old enough, he left to search for new lands to conquer for himself, and so he could become even more powerful than his father.

So, he traveled throughout the lands, defeating every strong demon he found, continuing to rise in the ranks of power and skill. He was soon feared and known as an incredibly powerful and dangerous youkai. However, he soon found his match with the demon Sesshomaru, who was also the son of a great demon. Both demons had a fierce struggle, before eventually Sesshomaru becoming the victor. However, Shoryu was not dead, but severely weakened. He crawled to a deep lake, and there sank to the bottom, commencing to hibernate as he healed.

However, unknown to him, the massive demon population that centered around that lake eventually lead to the people hiring priests who sealed the lake off, thus also sealing away Shoryu. However, centuries later, a new irrigation system and a lack of fear for old superstitions led to them disturbing the lake and awakening Shoryu. He sought out to find Sesshomaru to defeat him, only to find that not only had Sesshomaru's father defeated his, but that then the half-demon brother of Sesshomaru, Inu-Yasha then killed Ryukotsusei. He then pledged that he would defeat both brothers to regain the pride of his clan, and to reign over the world, crushing the humans who felt they were able to rise up to demons' level.
