Almost that of a child. She was one of Naraku's latest creations, still young though. Unless she's in battle though, she looks purely innocent.

The mind of a child is where the revolution begins
Shi doesn't have much history. She's lived for three years under Naraku's control. He created her to buy himself time while he hunted the jewel shards down. She was sent to kill Inuyasha and capture Kagome on her first mission and was defeated rather easily. Naraku didn't care though, and continued to send her out to distract the group while he got away. After a few times though, she found herself doubting her masters orders. When Naraku was killed, Shi wondered if her life had meaning any longer. Now, 3 more years later, she kills evil demons and attempts to live her life without evil.
